"Went in for the NYC restaurant week. Good experience overall. Food is great. Bone marrow just melts in your mouth. Uni is fresh and umami. Ramen is super rich. The assorted sashimi is a bigger plate than I expected. The duck has a slight gamey taste. Some people may like it, but I’m not a big fan. Also the cocktail is average, although I probably should have gone with the sake."

"Quick note, SenYa box is in a bowl, and the chirashi is in a box. Came during their restaurant week, $60 for three course meal. The noodle with bone marrow was the best out of all. For desserts, I recommend the yuzu cheesecake."
"We tried Senya for the restaurant week. Everything on the menu is pretty good. The food quality, the food demonstration are all in high end. For the $60/ person during restaurant week, definitely worth the value."
"I came for their restaurant week menu. It's a great set in my opinion. The dishes I ordered are really delicious, fresh, and well-made. The bone marrow is so rich and sweet, the beef tartar is fresh and has a gentle touch of sweetness as well. The variety of rish cuts were so fresh and high quality, and the rice underneath them was also seasoned and flavored, every single bite is a flavor town! The yuzu cheesecake is delicious and delicate but not as outstanding as the other two dishes. The only discordance was that the waiter was rushing me to finish since I came alone and they wanted to prepare space for group customers, which was a bit rude, but it might also be a language barrier thing as the waiter didn't speak good English so maybe he could have worded in a nicer tone if his first language was English. I still tipped as usual. However, I noticed that eventually they didn't take my tips, I guess that was their way of saying sorry, which was nice of them. So overall I'd say it's a great experience especially given the quality and presentation of the food, I will come back and try their other dishes! LOVE LOVE LOVE the fish in the close up shot, it’s so fresh, fatty, and tender, it melts in your mouth, even though I have no idea what fish it is, lol."
