"Small bar downstairs is a nice welcoming I appreciate in a theater. Did not have to wait for the play outside when arrived early. But got to enjoy a drink and then called up to the theater. We watched “Bacon” as a part of Fringe and it was incredible!"

"What a fun show we had such a wonderful time the magician is so sweet with the children he makes everybody laugh and everyone had a wonderful time what a great place to take a family especially if you have children to see all these kids laughing and jumping up and down and he was interacting with them and he's a great magician too! Would definitely recommend this to people if they want something different to do with the family then he was very gracious later on when we were getting to leave we happen to notice him outside just taking photos with anyone and everyone who wanted photos with him how nice is that Mario the magician definitely a five-star rating"

"Ed Byrne was great. Delight, old, uncomfortable theater seats. Small and uncomfortably intimate men's room. Enjoyed enjoyed being able to take my drink into the theater (hence the men's room visit). A classic off-Broadway theater experience."

"I could be biased because the show I saw (Broadway Barbara) was so flipping good. Better than I expected, actually. But I cannot say enough about this playhouse: Every seat is a good seat, everyone who works here is the perfect example of customer service, there is no food downstairs, so I grabbed some fries from across the street, brought them back and enjoyed them with a glass of wine. The bar area is not the largest, but everyone flows well there, so I did not mind at all, and it did not seem like anyone else minded either. ((The bartender had all of the skills and worked quickly)) And the playhouse is RIGHT across from the E train at the spring stop. Great venue, amazing people, fun bar, easy to get to.. I will definitely go back. They make it too easy to have an amazing time."
