Food Dynasty Supermarkets

"The food is always fresh there a passion guy that works there keeps watching me every time I’m at the cash register. I’ve shopped at this store for 26 1/2 years. I never had a problem, now I’m feeling uncomfortable. I’ve never go in a supermarket or grocery store unless I have the money to pay for the groceries. I’ve been a loyal customer for decades. The manager should stop stereotyping certain individuals. Not everyone that visits into the store is coming there to do something dishonest. Everyone should be treated equally and treated as if they are decent human beings. They show favoritism to individuals of their same cultures and others they discriminate against. This isn’t fair treatment. That’s not fair to the customers who work very hard and are tired when they arrive home. No one has time to be scared to buy for a neighbor store. This is one of my favorite supermarkets. I wish they were more friendly to the customers that help the business thrive. We are a team and should work together to make this a success."

"Been living on fifth ave between 135 and 132 streets for the last nine months. Since I work late this grocery store was my go to place because it usually closes at ten. Its normal for me to walk in at 9:50 even 9:55. Yes, I am that customer, however, its often for one item and I have the exact amount needed in cash. Easy peasy. Plus, I know the cashiers have families and lives they need to get home to. So tonight when the gates were down and the entrance gates were half down there was some confusion. The latin man with the pony tail after I finally got his attention had the audacity to tell me they close at 9:45. That they had always closed at 9:45 even though the hours of operation listed on the web and on the premises say close 10 pm as well as my previous experiences. Gaslighting at its finest by the man with the pony tail. People like me who work late depend on grocery stores like this for last minute essentials. Consistent times are greatly valued and therefore appreciated. If this grocery store indeed closes at 9:45 listing the times for all to know would help individuals like me make other arrangements. Thank you"

"They are overpriced. Even having "sales" where the item costs MORE than the shelf price! Check prices carefully; sometimes computer price will be wrong at checkout. Never buy asparagus there. This is what you get--broken pieces hidden under the spears, so it looks normal on the surface, but you're paying for the weight of the broken pieces. Never seen this done anywhere before. Update 8/2022. Last week there was a sale on vine tomatoes. You cannot choose how many you want. They are all packaged, 4-5 large tomatoes in each package (thereby making up for the "sale" price), and wrapped in saran wrap. Naturally, they don't last long after sitting in a wrap for days. They consistently cheat customers on "sales"."
