"I ordered the chicken breast with bok choy, three ear fungus, and rice. The cashier/Server saw me putting soy and hot sauce on it, and he asked if I would like chili oil. He was paying attention. I was impressed by a tasty nutritious small meal for that price in New York City. When I'm in the area, I will go again."
"Got takeout with colleagues ~2PM on a Tuesday. It was packed with people eating and lining to order. The restaurant was also very busy preparing orders, so it was a 10 minute wait. They also ended up forgetting my colleague's order, so the total wait time was longer. I got the popcorn chicken, mild. For the portion size, it seemed worth it! Unfortunately the vegetables and the chicken itself were really salty. The popcorn chicken was also a bit too spicy for me, so it was not fun. I think if they decreased the salt (and clarified the spice levels), this would be my go-to place while in the area. They have a fridge of drinks. I thought it was amusing that the soy milk uses Canadian soybeans (I'm from Canada). Lots of seating inside, whether you come alone or with 4-person groups. Overall, would recommend trying this place out."
"This place is so good. I definitely over ordered for myself. I came while my bf was working. I got popcorn chicken, Chinese tea egg, and the little hot pot. Everything is so good and I'm definitely determined to finish it. The popcorn chicken is well seasoned. The tea egg was perfect and makes me want to try to make my own. The hotpot flavor brings me back to childhood. I would definitely come back."
"Wow! This was delicious and cheap! I ordered N1. Wheat noodles with vegetables and ground pork. The vegetables was a little bit of bok choi and a lot of cabbage. But definitely a lot of meat. The broth was heavy and flavorful. I would have liked a thicker noodle though. The wheat noodle was an angel hair. And there wasn't enough of it."
"Clean environment and Covid safe with flex glass setup. Initially attracted by the 4.8 ⭐️ rating on Google by 80 reviewers, and boy, was this a disappointment. If not for the friendly staff and affordability in a prime location, I’d give a max of 2 ⭐️. We ordered popcorn chicken, baobao rice plate and mala soup. From bad to worst, it was popcorn chicken, baobao rice plate and mala soup. There was no authentic taste in any of those three dishes, and the chicken in popcorn chicken was tender. The baobao minced pork and sour beans tasted salty and dry, possibly due to high concentration of lean mean selection, I couldn’t finish even half of it. Mala soup was just hot soup with some spicy oil, nothing like what it supposed to taste. Overall, if you are looking for an authentic experience, this is not it. However, if you just want to fill up your belly with some Chinese food at a good price, this may work. I think they have the potential to make it better, but right now, the tasting score stays at 2 ⭐️."
