"Had a half sleeve done by Jemin this week, it was a great experience and I'm probably going to be back with more ideas. Everyone is warm and friendly, communication is clear, the waiver form asks about medical conditions and allergies, and most of all it felt like an inclusive and supportive environment. I've been in shops that don't feel as comfortable and it's important to me that I feel like I can ask questions and make requests during the process. The work turned out amazing, we had to stop and finish the piece the following day and that was totally fine, I appreciated how much care was put into the quality. I LOVE the way it turned out, the folks here are super talented and have a nice range of styles. Jemin's style suited my idea the best and they were great from the beginning to end. The aftercare instructions were thorough and also on their website for reference. Highly recommend this shop for customs! **will add a photo once it's healed** The cost was $800 for 4.5 hours of work not including the design process, for a piece that was 10"x4", non-figurative, and colored. Very fair price in my opinion."

"This review is quite literally years overdue but I have been going to Chris (and her dad Kevin to start the back tattoo!) since the beginning of 2019 and her work is so unbelievably good that I've been coming here and ONLY here ever since. I'm a diehard customer for life, and her worksmanship speaks for itself. She's a genius in the literal sense when it comes to freehanding designs - I've given the vaguest of descriptions, and it's like she suctioned the perfect tattoo straight from the deepest crevices of my brain. Not only are the tattoos themselves out of this world, but the Black Fish staff are all some of the friendliest and most welcoming professionals I've encountered. Absolutely worth every penny and then some!!! Couldn't recommend Black Fish enough."

"Visited New York and happened upon this place and I was not let down by their sevice. The moment we walked in to the second we left, we were treated with amazing service. The art was amazing, the artists were dope and skilled and the atmosphere was chill. Clean line work and great coloring. Would definitely come back and get another tattoo next time I am in New York!!
