"Pros: 1. My nails look nice [for now]. Cons: 1. The artist looked like she wanted to be anywhere but there, kept staring at the front desk lady, the other women in the salon and texting on her phone. 2. Artist seemed clueless and disorganized, on one hand all nails were done at the same time (which you're not supposed to do for gel), on the other hand she remembered and did one nail at a time in the most random order. 3. The nails were filed after curing with top-coat. This breaks the seal and I won't be surprised if they start to peel within a week. 4. Very rough, not gentle at all. The drilling was painful and she pulled on my hands every time they needed to be switched. 5. When I got home I had to pick cured gel from underneath my nails. 6. Rushed work, she had to file down/fix certain nails multiple times. 7. Front desk gave me a full $20 as change so I'd have no choice but to tip that amount - Do I want to give 25% tip for half effort? No. 8. $80 for the bare minimum. Other salons give you cuticle oil, or at least some lotion. Here? Nothing. You get the feeling they want the money and have you gone ASAP. Overall very rushed work that's lacking in effort and poor customer service. Apprentice quality work at a full price."
