"Not every nail tech is created equal. Call before you go, long waits at times. Staff can be cold. The vibes are not it, the nails were not it either. 3 days later-2 of my gel nails chipped/broke. 1 week out 2 more broke. :("

"Read this review before you enter this nail salon because I should have done the same. I would NOT recommend coming here. I have long natural nails and wanted gel nail polish for an upcoming event. A red flag for me was when I was getting my nails done, the staff couldn’t believe how long my nails were, and I chose to ignore the red flag. I paid for my services around 4PM and went on my way. By 9PM, one of my nails cracked. I was in disbelief because I’ve been getting my nails done by regular nail salon and this hasn’t happened especially if they had applied the gel nail polish in the corners for an extra layer of protection. This was a huge inconvenience because I knew if I didn’t go back to the nail salon they would try to give me some excuse or rebuttal. Soon as I enter the salon and explain the situation, the lady who sits right by where you check-in (reading the other reviews, she’s the manager) insinuates that I ran my fingers through my hair and it cracked. I asked her how did she come up with this false pretenses. My nails were not even done 24 hours ago, nor did she take a look at my nails. She quickly informed me she would charge me $5 to fix it which I thought was tasteless. Normally, other salons would fix your nail due to the short time turnaround. She then proceeded to fix my nail and started yelling in her language to her employees. She also flung my hands, as if I wasn’t a paying customer. Her energy and attitude was terrible. She didn’t even lotion my hands afterwards. The next day, my finger was inflamed and swollen. I don’t know what type of cheap quality products they use, but this place will NEVER get my money again. I didn’t deserve this type of service, no one does. Use your money somewhere else where they provide great customer service with a positive attitude."

"The owner at this establishment is very Nasty. She gives me a raciest Vibe against Ebony Americans. Her daughter is nice and so is John nail tech but the polish chipping and nails breaking is a problem. The owner will say it’s the customer fault verse fixing the problem. Give you a hard time about fixing the polish. Will see the polish chipping on one the nails and instead of fixing it put clear coat on it. When you question her she will say she is busy when she has no customers tell you to come back in 2 hours verse just fixing the nail she is a horrible person. Do not get your nails done here."

"I had a really great experience, I haven't had my nails done in years and my husband got me a gift card to go get them done for our 15th anniversary. I do not know the guys name who did my nails but I told him I was on blood thinners, and he was wonderful, super gentle and my nails look elegant and beautiful. I would absolutely go back when I need a fill, and recommended them! I am very happy, thank you lux nails for helping me feel beautiful!"
