"Lashawn never fails to get my nails perfect. They are always exactly what I hope they will be. I’m never disappointed. She takes so much care and really goes above and beyond every single time to make sure the size, length, shape and design are all exact and match. Some people may complain about the wait times at this business, and the fact that making an appointment just guarantees you will be seen (but not a guarantee on when lmfao) but to me this is the spot. It’s worth the wait. Just anticipate waiting and plan for it. Schedule in to your day an extra 30min-1hour from when you book the appointment to start and expect to wait. Bring a book or something."
"First time I went was great, the lady was super nice and the gel manicure was great! Lovely lady. She’s the only reason I’m not giving 1 star. Second time I went in, a different woman serviced me, she spoke on the phone (not with headphones, with her face pushing her phone against her shoulder), I asked her to not cut my cuticles and she said no??? And cut them anyways??? Told me to go get my own towel while she was chatting away with the other techs? Laughed when I didn’t know when to look like I would know?? And then when removing my previous gel manicure she shaved the tops of my usually really strong and long natural nails down… so thin… that when I was trying to button up my jeans later that day at home my entire thumb nail bent. I realized then that ALL of my nails were BENDY. YES YOU READ THAT RIGHT, MY NAILS WERE BENDY! LIKE I COULD BEND THEM 90 DEGREES! So… I dealt with that pain for less than a week before all my nails broke."
"I’m not into playing games with people, their business or my money. My review has NOTHING to do with you not keeping your word with the $45 credit (not a free service) but that was the cherry on top. I have been a patron of Millennial for years and have witnessed it going from a luxurious experience to a subpar one. What happened to the wine and champagne with your services? What happened to the the hot towels? Which are never hot by the way. In the last few times I have visited your shop: - Your staff have been late causing me to have to change my appointment -I have received subpar service. Let’s remember, I got my nails done July 21st and within a week, at least 3 of them were broken. -Today more specifically, I booked for a gel pedicure in which I have one foot with two coats of polish and another with three, with nail polish on other parts of my feet and did not receive the wax that’s supposed to be included. Let me also point out the staff who actually were doing good work are no longer at the shop, further proving my point that service is LACKING. When offering a credit it is the responsibility of the business to document this (booking system, gift card etc) not the patron. I wish you and your business the best of luck."
"I received a gel manicure with a thin black line and a gel keratin pedicure. The pedicure was great and about $70, I think that's a tad expensive but an amazing pedicure overall. If this was just about the pedicure this would have received a 5-star rating. However, the manicure was okay, but the issue is the bill came out to be $160. Meaning this basic gel manicure was $90 and its not even close to being worth that price. I asked for a simple black line and I was told it was $5 per nail and she gave me a discount "$30", as you can tell it should have been "$0". 1.)because it's a simple black line that could be done by any nail tech (at most charge $10) 2.) because the lines are not good; They're uneven, different sizes, and are on different spots on the nails. I like this nail salon and do like my pedicure but paying $90 for a manicure is unacceptable."
