"My favorite nail salon in the neighborhood! Love everyone who works here and my SNS manicures are at a great price. I always make an appointment but sometimes they can accommodate you last minute too. Thank you!"
"Really disappointed with the service I received yesterday. I wanted to try this spot because it’s just down the street from me. I called to make an appointment and they had an opening that same hour — awesome. Upon arrival, I was asked by a gentleman with a client by the front of the salon to choose a polish and sit to the back far left table to wait for my nail technician. I usually bring my own polish so I just sat the designated table to wait. Few minutes later the technician arrived in a scramble, without even a greeting, and was upset as she struggled for a few minutes to get the light on the desk to light up properly — granted I’d feel the same way if I couldn’t get it to work. She barely looked at my nails, which are currently naturally long and almond/oval shaped and proceeded to remove the polish. I noticed she left streaks of polish still, so I kindly asked her to please remove them. She grunted and rapidly tried to remove the polish again, to show me if it was better. To be honest, there was still some polish but the exchange itself made me feel so awkward I just said it’s fine. She asked me if I wanted to do gel, I kindly declined and showed her that I had brought my own polish, which clearly was disappointing for her as she shrugged and began to file my nails right away. She asked if I wanted to cut my nails and I said no, just file — I would expect at this point to be asked about my preferred shape but she just rushed right in without even consulting me. The whole time I felt like she was rushing through the service. She dipped my hands in the water and literally clipped my cuticles off as if she were erratically landscaping a bush. I’ve never ever seen someone with such a lack of care and technique remove my cuticles. When she finished the first hand, I nicely pointed out there were still cuticle left. She looked at me as though I was crazy and pointed out as she pushed them back that there was no cuticles to remove! This made me feel so uncomfortable as I could clearly see she wasn’t doing a good job and was being completely shut down by her like I don’t know what I’m talking about. I just said okay… appalled by her behavior. At this point, I just wanted her to finish so I could leave. I sat there feeling so frustrated because all I wanted and needed was a little cuticle refresh and a fresh coat of polish as I have kept my nails looking pretty nice since my last manicure in December at my salon in Miami. The lack of attention from this technician is completely unacceptable — I really don’t understand why she rushed through my service only to place me under the hand dryer and jump on her phone. She didn’t even come by to check on me… I waited long enough until I figured my nails were dry and ended up putting the drying spray on by myself. As I left, I still gave her a tip — not because she deserved it but because I didn’t want to be rude… but honestly this “manicure” was a complete let down. You can clearly see my cuticles not properly removed and the polish is already starting to chip. This polish usually lasts me at least a full week or so. I was really hoping to find my new spot for mami-pedis as I’m a new to the neighborhood and this salon is so close to me. Perhaps there are skilled technicians at this salon but I’m sad to have had this experience as my first time. There should be better care/attention given to customers and a higher quality standard for the services provided. Whomever runs this salon should be checking in with the clients upon entry, during the service, and when they leave… but don’t expect that here. Waste of money."
"I love that they have appointments but my gel polish chipped less than 24 hours."
"I’ve been a customer for over 10 years. I refuse to go anywhere else. My nails are growing, the extensions are amazing and my eyebrows stay perfect!"
"Erica is fantastic and so experienced. She is so kind and took the time to educate me and honestly tell me what I need for my nails. She really makes you feel like she's working with you to help you get the result you want from your nails. For someone who's been in the business for years, it's so refreshing that she is still so passionate. She genuinely cares and that is evident in the work she does! Scheduling all of my appointments with her for sure."
