"Lisa did a great job on my nails today! It’s such a pretty dip gel color. The place was relaxing and cozy. Thank you :)"
"First time I went (Wendy) was wonderful. The second time I was little disappointed for the following reasons: Rush job My pedicure was incomplete - No lotion or moisturizer (Dry feet) Polished smeared and started peeling on on the second day. One week later and half the polish on my nails is gone. The best part of Jade Nail is the cleanliness of the bath room and shop."
"I've been a regular customer at Jade Nail Salon, visiting twice a month since March 2023. Initially, I was impressed by their cleanliness and friendly staff. However, my recent experience with was disappointing, frustrating and embarrassing. Despite my appointment, the salon was primarily focused on a bridal party, and I was seated with a nail tech not in uniform. It became evident she lacked expertise midway through my SNS gel manicure set. My nails started popping off within 72 hours, as if I had on press on nails. Upon returning, Anna, Jay, and Lisa were apologetic, as they remembered the previous day's ordeal. They had to redo most of my nails. The manager, who knew the mistake, demanded $50 or no return, leaving me feeling embarrassed and upset. My recent visit was a waste of time and money, and I hope no one else faces such an unpleasant experience."
"Came in for a French gel manicure and was extremely rushed. The technician, Eva, didn’t even let me give her suggestions during the process. Felt like a bother to be there. I ended up with uneven and bumpy nails. I’m really disappointed but willing to give the salon another chance with such good reviews. Just don’t go during rush hour or they will rush your nails."
"I really wanted to find a good spot as my old one in the UWS has closed, and was so hopeful after seeing the reviews. Not sure if I was unlucky, but it was one of the worst and most rushed manicures of the last years. The technician (Joey?) didn’t paint to the base of the nails so a couple of days later it already looks like it’s been done 2 weeks ago maybe in the hope to get me back sooner - and the cuticles were not done at all even after I asked if we were going to have my cuticles removed or pushed back at least. Also, the nail polish was not put on evenly on the sides. Before we started the manicure, a gentleman removed my gel and then proceeded to use a very rough nail file (the one you use to shorten the nails) scratching them. They asked me if it was the first time there so maybe they treat regulars better, but I obviously won’t become one of them."
