"The first time I went here, I had a terrible experience the barber charged me an extra $15 for 3 simple line paths design he made on my hair, without informing me first that it was $5 per line. Ridiculous! I ended up paying him and tipping him even to prove a point that the money wasn’t the issue. It’s the principle. You’ll think this dude would get it right? I came there a second time and cut with a different barber and it was a different experience. Today I called in before coming and booked a 7pm appointment. I got the worst customer service as the barber was rude and acted like he wasn’t in the mood to cut my here. I told him if he doesn’t feel like cutting my hair he should let me know and I’ll sit with someone else. He was acting all arrogant and not being apologetic at all. At this point I just decided this was it! Never again will I step foot into this business and I hope for your sake you don’t go here. There’s a place on the corner of Coles and Newark Ave called Amanda & Estilo. The barber here is really good and very respectful to customers."

"I've been coming to this place for years. Rich and his crew are the best. I used to get my haircut at one of those fancy barbershops in the East Village where the guys have handlebar mustaches and serve you Scotch while you get your haircut but one day i decided to support local businesses and j found Rich. He's personable, funny, and most importantly he gives an amazing haircut. He's also shown a willingness to keep up with technology. He started using Booksy so now I book all my appointments from my phone. It's super easy and makes scheduling my haircut simple. He also recently started accepting Venmo which is also pretty rad. The hair cut is worth the money. In case he's busy there are three other great barbers: Christian, Miguel, Victor, and Oscar."
