"Its a sad story: Red Wing used to be my go to for work boots. I used to rave to everyone on every jobsite about the quality and comfort of red wing boots. Recently, I bought myself and one of my technicians some boots. I spent over $700 on two pairs of their highest quality boots. Both pairs were and are defective. Its honestly heartbreaking to see red wing drop their quality and standards like most companies in todays world. Im not sure what happened but these are not the boots they used to be and I feel like an idiot recommending them to coworkers, friends, and family. Hopefully i can find someone to repair our boots, but until then every morning when i lace them up for work i get annoyed because they are broken and defective. I cant afford to buy more boots so Ill have to deal with these broken ones for a long time. Shame on you red wing. Buyer be ware these are not the red wings we are all used to....."
