"Came in on a Friday with my family and we were blown away! It’s busy, but the staff were incredibly accommodating, the host and the manager were so sweet to my parents. The service was great, the food was so fresh and flavorful. Our server took the time to walk through the sauces with my mother who has a hard time admitting that she can’t actually handle spicy food and she found her dream meal in the flautas which in other places could be so boring but the attention to detail in seasoning everything even the lettuce was amazing. The margaritas are delicious, i love the glasses they are served in and the CHURROS omg the churros. (Honestly 5 starts just for the chocolate sauce)We were warned they take a while to cook, but they are worth the wait. The prices are high, but it’s Manhattan"
"Stopped in for Cocktails and a quick bite with friends. Vibrany atmosphere, Food was OK very small portions priced on the higher end and the Cocktails were small and a limited selection of choices for spirits. Literally the smallest daiquiri I have ever been served."

"I have loved and followed restaurants from Enrique Olvera since I learned about him on Chef’s Table (like so many others). I’d been to Pujol, Damian, and Ditroit before trying ATLA. With high expectations from those previous experiences, I’d say that ATLA got in the range, but not much further than that. The food was good, but what threw me off was the lobster burrito. $24 for something that tasted like a menu item from Rubio’s or some casual Mexican fast food place like it. It had nothing unique like so many of Olvera’s other dishes. Aside from that, the vibe of the place was great, the mezcal Negroni was lovely, and the rest of the dishes were good (not great) enough to still make it an enjoyable meal. All in all nice, but I suggest splurging and going to his other restaurant, Cosme, instead."
"I was flying solo on a Sunday afternoon so came in for an early dinner. Host was lovely - seated me immediately. Rest of the service was a little slow. Was never offered dessert menu, just given the check. Awkward. I love dessert but didn’t get any because that was weird. Guacamole was ok. I remember it being better (pre-covid). Brussel sprout tacos were ok. Quesadilla was meh. Mezcal margarita was ok. I really want to recommend this place but it just wasn’t amazing tonight :("
