"3.5 stars. This is cash-only bistro, so be prepared. I had the chilly burger that was very good (if not a touch too salty). When you ask for medium rare it is more rare than medium. So if you're uncertain go for more cooked as burger was thick. My cousin has a burger with bacon and said it made the dish. Fries were good but we wanted tater tots, he brought us both. We split a beer, and it was so good. This is not inexpensive. Bill with tip was $60. Maybe that's the standard in NYC. It was a recommendation from other New Yorkers living in the area. Fun atmosphere."

"Divey bar that serves objectively fantastic burgers - the patty is juicy and served as it should be, and the toppings don’t overwhelm the burger. Cash only although there is an atm in the restaurant. $20 all in if you just get the burger."

"Cozy pub like feel, with friendly service. However, we came for the burger and I found it extremely bland. This is rare for me, as I find that restaurants love to oversalt their food. Imagine my surprise when the patty seemed completely unseasoned. The other people in the group agreed the patty was undersalted as well. It would have been a decent burger otherwise, though pricey at around $15 for a cheeseburger without fries. The fries and tater tots were pretty good. It's cash only and there's an ATM inside near the restrooms."

"The Bistro Burger used to be the best burgers in town pre-pandemic. Now, in October 2023, the burger is good, but not as good as I remember. Also, prices have gone up a lot for what is basically just a bar burger. I still recommend a visit if you are looking for a decent burger in the area and are a fan of shoestring fries. The beers here are in glasses and not pints but have pint prices."
