"Don't step foot in here if you have curls. Why? Because they used thinning shears on my hair, which is a well-known NO for curly hair. The stylist did not inform me in advance of his plan to thin my hair. I only found out afterwards, when I checked in with the salon about why I suddenly had frizzy hair. I have reached out to discuss potential opportunities to undo their damage. I emailed, and I sent a follow-up after 72 hours; I then called, and I called again after more than a day of no follow-up. The salon hasn't acknowledged my messages, nor have they offered opportunities to amend their mistake by reimbursing me, at minimum. I don't recall that I've ever written a negative review, but this salon's lack of professionalism warrants this warning. —— UPDATE (2 weeks later): Leposh never followed-up to my calls or emails. After writing this review, I sent another email to the salon, which has also gone unacknowledged."
"I had a great experience at Le Posh. I walked in off the street needing a haircut, and was served right away at 6:15pm. The staff was friendly, and my stylist gave me great tips on hair hydration. My hair looks wonderful, and I really appreciated how conscientious my stylist was about making sure I knew how short my hair would be at the end of the appointment. It didn't matter much to me, as long as it wasn't crooked, but she added layers to help with volume without me needing to ask and my hair felt floaty all day. I am definitely going back when I need my next haircut! It cost $40, which is great for Manhattan."
"This place is fantastic. They took me right on time, shampooed my hair, and then Dawn quickly and clearly worked with me to understand what I wanted. And she delivered! I have really long, thick hair and normally budget 1.5 hrs for a haircut. But I walked out of there in an hour, feeling lighter, hair perfectly layered, and with new tips from Dawn on rebuilding hair and shine. THANK YOU "
"Wish I could give this place 10 stars!! Came here for the first time today and got a cut and color from Olga. She did an absolutely FABULOUS job- it’s even better than I imagined !!! She was so kind and seemed to be able to read my mind because the end result was PERFECT. My hair is so shiny and healthy now!! Will absolutely be back."
"worked here as a receptionist for a few months. nice salon with lovely staff and a great owner - Olga. the manager, Vanity probably gives good haircuts but is one of the nastiest people I have ever encountered, creates a very toxic work environment, and was ultimately the reason I chose to quit. Again, great place otherwise. hope the owner makes the decision to get rid of the nasty manager and perfect her business. UPDATE: went back today to get a haircut, will have to get it redone as “manager” Vanity was totally incompetent. I told her how I wanted it styled and dried, she told me I was wrong, getting increasingly frustrated. So I just left with wet hair, tipping the amazing hair washer, and paying for the bad service. She refused to speak to me or even apologize for her actions when I was employed there. Don’t give your money to a bully, especially one who can’t even do her job right. When I was a receptionist she was maybe specificially requested 3 times. Mostly she just sits around on her phone, chain smoking cigarettes, bullying receptionists, and hoping for a walk in so she can go put her mask on in the bathroom and pretend to be a remotely nice person for a customer. Ask for Eddie or Olga or literally anyone else there except Vanity, whose name will always be hilarious given her horrendous personality."
