"Ulta is one of my favorite stores, but stock is inconsistent from location to location. Not every store carries every brand that the website says that they offer, in store brands vary according to location, and many are slow to roll out new releases."

"I had a bad experience here at the watchung Ulta salon . And they don't care about customers.i got my hair blown out by Sarah on December 23rd and it was a terrible experience. I was told that I would have to pay an extra $32 to get the curling iron done on my hair. Then they said she did "complimentary ironing" which she did for 10 seconds. I had an event to go to and my hair was completely flat a half hour after I walked out of the salon. I had to go home and blow out by own hair. Sara has a bad attitude on top of it. I contacted Ulta beauty's customer service and they aren't too helpful ..they called the watchung store and the manager Erin called me back but I was busy at the time I tried calling backs wife and she didn't call me back. At this point I would like my money back. My hair didn't last I had to wash it myself and it's not the style I was told I would get originally. I had left a message with Kaylee over the weekend for Erin to call me back and it's now Weds and she didn't call en back. This place is the worse Ulta to get your hair done at. I've had much better experiences at other ones."

"Over the spring I made an appointment at the benefit brow bar online. my appointment was confirmed by a store employee. I arrived the day of my appointment to only be told they don’t have any brow specialists working and haven’t had anyone for weeks so they don’t understand why I was called and had my appointment confirmed. I have a wedding this Sunday, they called me YESTERDAY to cancel my makeup appointment because the makeup artist isn’t in this week & asked me to reschedule. How am I rescheduling when the wedding is this Sunday!!! Absolutely unprofessional. They can’t find me another artist so now I have 3 days to find somewhere to get my makeup done. Would give this place 0 STARS if it were possible."

"This location is very clean and well organized, as expected being a new store. The only downside is the customer service. Store seems understaffed and the few workers who are on are solely behind the counter. I managed to find someone after 15 minutes or so and asked for some assistance. They weren’t in the least bit interested in helping me and asked me to wait a moment while they finished another task, then spent some time chatting with an of duty worker. Finally after dodging me and other customers like me he came over after 20 minutes to help me and my wife out. The health & beauty industry is a billion dollar industry and you expect it to be reflected in places like this, after all it is supposed to be a customer service industry. Not really worth the visit unless you know exactly what you’re looking for and where it might be. My suggestion is the online experience."

"I got my hair done about five weeks ago. A full highlight. The girl was known, and she took over four hours to do my hair, and I was very unhappy with my hair. The Store closed. That's how long she took. I called five weeks later because it was very upsetting to me, and I spoke to the manager Billy who not only offered a refund but told me to come in, and they’re redoing my highlights for free! A full head of highlights for free, she gave me her top stylist, and I called on the 23rd and today’s the 26, and she got me right in!! She is overseeing my hair and has to be one of the best hair managers. Definitely come here. I usually go to the store by Martinsville on chimney rock Road, but the store is much smaller, and you can never get a hair appointment. This store is much bigger they have a lot more products, and I’m sitting here now getting my hair redone. I’m a little nervous. MaryBelle is doing my hair and has been GREAT!!! She is also giving me a haircut as well. Definitely call for her. I hope this helps."
