"I have been going here for about 6 years after accompanying a long time customer whilst he got his haircut. I have long, pin straight natural blonde hair and needed a trim so I decided to have mine done also. How bad could it turn out? Well let me tell you something....I now travel 2 1/2 hours from upstate NY every 3 months or more often if I can to have Amy cut my hair. It's a whole completely enjoyable experience. The shampoo and head massage is unheard of in any salon I've been to and I've been to quite a few in my 56 years. I'm not your normal every day customer in this salon given my ethnicity but I'm treated like royalty from beginning to end. I can't understand much of what is said in this bustling little no frills neighborhood salon but I'm thoroughly entertained with the banter and the precision cut and attention to detail is like no other. I only wish I lived closer because the drive can sometimes be 6 hours round trip depending on traffic. The whole experience is an absolute treat and worth the effort. Oh, did I mention CHEAP? Unbelievable value for your money!"
