Paul Miller BMW - Service

"Had my key stolen and the thief knew where I park the car, so I needed to have the key electronically removed ASAP. Called the dealership that I bought the car from and they told me it would be an hour of labor to do the programming. Quoted me $284. Would have done it but they were booked solid and told me because it was an emergency she’d put me on the books and I could come in and wait and they would squeeze it in, it just might be an hour or two. I told her I would call her back within the hour, just wanted to check some other dealerships to see if they had openings. Could not reach a human at Bloomfield BMW (later got a call I think was from them, but no VM), but immediately got through to Ken, a service advisor at Paul Miller. They were similarly booked but offered the same come-in-and-with-a-little-wait-we’ll-get-to-you, but gave me half the time window that the other dealer did. Also said the work was a half hour of labor which would run me $98. When I got there, Ken was very accommodating. He asked about my time constraints and said that they normally do a complimentary car wash but since I was waiting he wanted to check with me first. As I was waiting, I got a text from the Ken. It was a video of a full car inspection, complete with measurements of remaining tire tread and break pads. Getting that plus the car wash for $98 seemed like a great deal and took the sting out of having to have this reprogramming done. Not to mention the learning experience of shopping dealer work and the good fortune of finding a new dealership for my service moving forward. Consider me a big fan of Paul Miller BMW."

Juanita was the service manager, she's taking care of the whole process end to end, very customer friendly. When I picked up my car, noticed the car has been washed and vacuumed.
