"OK so I walked in the Steve Madden on 86st location on Friday 12/08 I was shopping for some boots and Steve Madden has awesome prices so as I walked in they (employees) greeted me well however there was one young lady that I asked to get me a pair of black beautiful black boots for $159 dollars in a size 8 I don’t even think she went downstairs to check she came back so fast And said we don’t have your size I didn’t believe her I think she was just trying to dismiss me don’t judge a book by its cover you don’t know what people have be more polite and professional young lady unfortunately I didn’t get her name but I will never forget your face."

Gwen got it all done quickly, updated my order to relevant sale prices, and was as friendly and cheerful as she was efficient. I could tell the three people in front of me had the same experience. "Very bad experience with a return today afternoon. They humiliated me in front of other customers, accusing me of returning worn shoes. I was shocked because I didn't do such a thing. I tried to explain to them that I bought it online and only tried it on at home and didn't like the style, One of the salespeople told me that she has worked enough years in steve maden to know when a pair of shoes has been worn, insinuating that I am a liar. She essentially embarrassed me in front of other customers, which was very upsetting, and degrading. Apparently, your in-store staff doesn't know the difference between used and unused pair of shoes. Furthermore, they are very unprofessional since they accuse customers of things they didn't do, belittling them. I am very upset with such mistreatment, and I hope Steve Madden instructs its staff on how to treat customers. I contacted online customer service after the incident and they appologised for my inconvenience and made a return straight away. I will definitely not go back to this shop again."

"The sales associate was very impatient when checking me out. She seemed to have an attitude from the initial point of contact. I purchased the shoe yesterday, unfortunately the following day I returned the shoe because I found a better option at another store. Upon returning the shoe this same sales associate was very rude! Professionalism is always a must and having the right attitude matters especially in customer service. I will not be shopping here again!"

"Lovely store! I didn’t know there were Steve Madden stores. I really loved the shoe options: there are a variety of choices and a they are all reasonably priced. They also have great discounts. The shoes are comfortable and affordable."
