"Not sure I want to share this authentic Italian gem with everyone 'cuz we're saving it for ourselves. Celebrating a weekday birthday in the city, we wanted some great, unpretentious food. Our server (everyone actually) Chris made us feel like part of the family. Reminiscing about growing up in Little Italy and living there for 40 years (us, not young Chris), we felt like we were having Sunday supper at Nonna's. Needless to say the pizza (with honey!), meatballs, octopus, braised short ribs - 2ways, all the pasta dishes, special olive oil, bread, Amarone, cappuccino, espresso...all of it was absolutely amazing. It's a hole in the wall and easy to miss, but missing this place would be tragic. Yeah, we all really enjoyed ourselves, thank you Donna Margherita!"
