"Food was decent- but defintely not the best. Service was quick but staff was very rude. Waiter refused to give us a wine menu unless we were going to order a bottle. He then seemed annoyed I asked him what wines by the glass- If you dont want to answer questions about alcohol then just go get the menu so I can see for myself smh. Prices to expensive for such small portions."

"In a sea of bad red sauce joints that plague the UES, Maruzzella does a very good job. Solid weeknight Italian food. Love the open air, though the interior could use some decor upfit. Calamari is great, many interesting pastas on the menu, we especially like the rigatoni and the pappardelle!"
