"My visit to L'Amore Italian Restaurant in Manhattan was an absolute delight, especially for a pizza and cocktail aficionado like myself. The pizza here is arguably the best in New York, with each bite offering a perfect blend of crispy crust, fresh toppings, and authentic Italian flavors. It's not just food; it's an experience. The ambiance of L'Amore complements the dining experience beautifully. It's a place that melds elegance with comfort, making it suitable for a variety of occasions. The service also deserves praise – attentive, friendly, and always on point. But what really took my experience over the top were the drinks – specifically, the Negroni and Aperol. These cocktails were to die for, expertly mixed and balanced, enhancing the overall meal. The Negroni was robust and nuanced, while the Aperol was refreshingly light and flavorful. They're a testament to the skill of the bartenders at L'Amore. In summary, whether you're in Manhattan for a day or a lifetime, L'Amore Italian Restaurant is a must-visit for its exceptional pizza, inviting ambiance, top-notch service, and outstanding drinks. A gem in the city's culinary scene. Thank you for the best tiramisú!!!"
"The portions are large, staff is very friendly. Food is OK as well. The eggplant lasagna came with a good size portion of pasta. The lobster ravioli was good, in creamy tomato sauce. With sparkling water and burrata appetizer, our bill was $101."
"A very nice restaurant in the very center of Little Italy. Encouraged by the gentleman from the staff, we decided to have dinner here. We were not disappointed, the dishes were very tasty. Fresh vegetables and wonderful pasta, and cheesecake for dessert. Mmmmm....Real Italy in the center of New York. We highly recommend it."
"We thought the food was good. We ordered the clams and they were super tasty. Steak was a good portion with lots of veggies. I don't know if it's authentic Italian or not, but we liked it. The only issue I had was that they had tacked on a 3% convenience fee that was not mentioned before. It was only taken off when I brought it up and that we were paying cash. I feel like the fee is a cash grab and somewhat marred our experience. I suggest they either just reflect that in the price of food or not have it altogether as it doesn't look good."
