Reviews
"I had dinner with my friends here on Tuesday night. We tried a variety of pastas & it was all amazing. We started with the meatballs and the whipped ricotta apps. For dinner we tried the gramigna, bucatini, & spicy rigatoni. I recommend all the dishes. I can’t wait to go back again."
"As a non-New Yorker, I hadn't heard of La Pecora Bianca, and when our train back home got cancelled and we had to take an earlier train, our dinner plans elsewhere got foiled and we had to make a quick decision on where to eat closer to our hotel before leaving town. Enter La Pecora Bianca. Turns out there are several locations throughout Manhattan, and there are some slight variations in menus as well depending on which one you visit. The NoMad location was convenient for us, and we loved the bright and airy ambiance inside. First off, the staff here are so on top of their game. From the moment we were greeted, to each and every encounter at our table, they were on point. Helpful, knowledgeable, eager to answer questions, so on and so forth. Also, the food came out extremely fast despite how busy it was! It was a very late afternoon on a chilly Saturday and the place was pretty packed even at that hour. We started with the local burrata and enjoyed it a lot. They immediately offered us more bread, and it arrived very quickly. Even though we were here on a weekend and had the opportunity to try some of their popular brunch offerings, my friend and couldn't resist the pastas! We both got the the Gramigna which is probably one of the most interesting and delicious pasta dishes I've had in a long time. The pasta shape itself is a curly tube, and upon asking I was informed it's made with acorn flour, which gives it a distinctive color and unique flavor. The preparation using sausage and sliced broccolini with garlic and chilis is very reminiscent of the classic orecchiette with sausage and broccoli rabe, and I loved how it was similar yet very unique and different at the same time. I will dream of this pasta... If I lived in NYC again (I did many years ago) this would be one of my go-to spots. I look forward to returning and maybe even trying the other locations. It is a restaurant I would wholeheartedly recommend and will absolutely revisit in the future."
"Very delicious pasta spot! I’d say better than Eatly. Got the rigatoni and the garganelli pasta along with the French toast. Everything was delicious! The rigatoni was al dante and in my opinion wasn’t spicy just right! Super creamy and tasty and got burrata on top which melted. If you like mushrooms get the garganelli! Super creamy and good! The French toast was soo good! Not tooo sweet but just right!"
"Food was so delicious!! I loved their drinks and each dish was really flavorful. I would definitely see this as an ideal place to chill and dine with friends."
"We visited this place for one of our weekend brunch. And it was totally amazing. Delicious food and amazing ambiance. Just the service was a little slow considering there was not much crowd at the time. But food was really delicious but comes with a price tag."
