Kindle Chrysler Jeep Dodge

"As promised, I am updating this review after my wife’s service experience this week. The previous rating was a 1-star and I am updating my new rating to 4-stars and here is the rationale. When my wife arrived, she was greeted pleasantly by the same person who always greets her for a service visit (Manuel?). Chris handled her visit very well and after the initial assessment they found out that they had all the parts they needed to do the recall work and arranged for her to be taken home while the work was done. The work was completed successfully and while doing the recall work and looking into another issue my wife brought up, they found that another part for a different problem was needed and was ordered. Overall a good experience this time around but Kindle has to realize that every employee-sales, service, warranty, parts, etc is a steward of their business and by extension their reputation. If we had not had such a terrible first impression, this would be a 5-star review. Maybe over time they will get there, but having good people to deal with in all aspects of the dealership are as important as ethical sales staff or a reliable service crew. I will be updating this review after service work is finally complete, but some background first. We purchased a brand-new 2023 Jeep Wrangler Sahara diesel in Sep of 2022 and were completely pleased with Tom and Maurice in Sales. We later found out that the diesel engine needed recall work to be done and called the service department to get it scheduled but were told by Gerry that they were waiting on the part and would call us when it arrived. We have subsequently placed several additional calls to Gerry about the status of the part and were told in a very abrupt manner that they are still waiting on the last part and would call us when it arrived. My wife just followed up again today since we like to check in every couple months after we don’t hear anything only to be told that the car needs to be inspected to see what parts need to be replaced as part of the recall. I am wondering if she hadn’t called on her own today, would they have EVER reached out? Appointment is scheduled for next Wednesday so will update this review then. I’d like to add that this recall is safety-related and prevents any new diesels from being sold or even test-driven without the work being completed for safety and liability reasons."

"Was there for my vehicle's first oil change and service. Everything checked and had my vehicle back in about an hour. All personnel were friendly and professional. Waiting area comfortable with some drinks and snacks available. Been with Kindle for years, happy with them, their service, and their employees. That is why we keep going back."
