"First visit to the India Garden which just opened in Belmar Plaza in the old Simply Southern location. The restaurant is pretty basic and sparse inside, but the food was excellent. We had the Samosa Chaat appetizer which was excellent with just the right level of seasoning and heat. For the main course my wife had chicken tikka and I had the lamb vindaloo. Both were very tasty and the lamb was fork tender with a good amount of heat considering it was only 'medium'. We also had butter naan and kerala parotta, the naan was OK, but I suspect they don't have a tandoor to cook it properly because it was not the best. Overall India Garden was great and we'll definitely be back. If it's a cold night, be sure to ask for a table as far away from the door as possible, because every time the door is opened there's a huge draft."
