"Awful. Had a 7:30 reservation for NYE 2023. Was told it would be 45-50 min wait. Guy at the hostess station had no interest in helping anyone. Was able to get a 7:30 at Danny’s in Red Bank. Service was perfect. Food was great. Pass on this place."

"Couldn’t finish the French onion soup bc it was loaded with salt. Ordered slow braised beef and what a mess. They need to work on plating skills. My entree came out in a bowl with the mashed potatoes and vegetables with the beef and broth it was slowed cooked in. I had mashed potato soup for the first time in my life. Waitress forgot us for 45 min while we were waiting for check. Shame bc it is a really nice atmosphere. Way overpriced."

"This was the first time at Brandl and our experience was nothing short of exceptional! Paul helped organize a surprise 60th birthday dinner and was so helpful and went above and beyond with each and every detail. Not to mention the food was spectacular as well as the service!!! Our whole dinner party had a great experience and couldn’t say enough wonderful things about the food and atmosphere. Definitely top notch! We will certainly be back!!"

"I’ve been here several times throughout the years and always had a pleasant experience. Last time we had to wait a bit to be seated but I think the food is worth it. The management is very accommodating especially now everything is so much harder because help is very hard to find with staffing shortages everywhere. We had a pleasant evening with quality food. You get what you pay for even during the pandemic so check this place out. They can also accommodate large parties, right before we were seated they set down a party of 18."
