"Hands down the best Indian food in the city! Menu is expansive and cocktails are awesome. Service is very welcoming."
"We went there for our anniversary dinner, wanted to go there for a long time. We started with the aloo tikki chaat, which was just out of the world!! The Dori kebab was also too good, they can increase the portion size a bit on this one, since it’s too good!! We ordered paneer shashlik as well in the appetizers and it was also good, though I personally feel paneer and mustard doesn’t go well together . In the main course we ordered Himalayan morel pulao, mutton korma and Katakat,, all of these were so delicious and just too good. We had to pack almost half of the main course as we were too full. In the dessert we had the saffron pancake which is a must try!!You have to order this one, it is just ethereal in taste!! Overall a great place but I wish there music was a tad bit lower in volume and they can improve on their ambience just to make it a bit more fine dining , not sure if they want to give that vibe or keep it rustic!"
"I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kebab Aur Sharab, and I must say that the experience exceeded my expectations in every aspect. Starting with the food, the flavorsome dishes left me wanting more. The kebabs were cooked to perfection, tender and succulent, and packed with exquisite spices that danced on my palate. The variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options ensured there was something delicious for everyone. The restaurant's atmosphere was another highlight. The interior was tastefully decorated with a blend of modern and traditional elements, creating a cozy and inviting ambiance. Soft mood lighting and comfortable seating added to the overall charm of the place. It was the perfect spot for a relaxing evening out or a special celebration. What truly stood out for me, though, was the exceptional management and staff at Kebab Aur Sharab. From the moment I entered, I was greeted with warm smiles and attentive service. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu, offering helpful suggestions based on personal preferences and dietary restrictions. They were prompt in catering to our needs without being intrusive, striking the perfect balance. The overall dining experience at Kebab Aur Sharab was a delight. The delicious food, cozy atmosphere, and outstanding management and staff make it a restaurant worth visiting. I highly recommend giving it a try for a memorable dining experience in the heart of the city."
"I celebrated my birthday here with my close friends and family, and let me tell you something... first off, definitely make reservations, and definitely make sure that it is your birthday (and let the staff know that you are celebrating your birthday). I won't spoil the surprise, but believe me, there is amazing desi twist to it! Good ambiance, noise levels on the higher end, but a very inviting bar and restaurant overall. Menu is definitely on a rather expensive end and some food items don't live up to their rather expensive price tag. No, it's not the desi in me saying this, I genuinely feel that way. We ordered a few cocktails, but their Badhai Ho ($22) is an absolute winner. Amrut Single Malt is just very very tasty! We ordered a few things which included a fairly forgettable Purple Sweet Potato Chaat ($20), but a rather delicious Rib Eye Seekh ($32). Paneer Butter Masala ($26) was rather disappointing and on the sweeter side, but the Palak Paneer Mirch Rogan ($28) definitely hits the spot. The Kerala Fish Curry ($36) is a must try and was thoroughly enjoyed and polished by table. I was shocked at the pace at which it disappeared actually! The Malabar Bone Marrow Pulao ($39) is enough for a table of four adults, and a little expensive too. Roomali Roti ($8) is absolute perfection and goes well with all curry entrees. A definite must try if you haven't tried this before. Service was excellent and Riya, our hostess/waiter was very helpful, and friendly. Food arrives within 20 minutes of ordering. Overall we had a very positive experience."
"We decided to try this place for casual date night. Lets start with the ambience. The inside seating area is beautiful. Its very well decorated and gives luxurious dining experience but if you are a party of two, you might not get the inside seating as they have set up the outside seating area for small parties which is something we did not like as it stripped away the opportunity from us to enjoy the ambiance. Coming on to food, each and every dish was delectable and packed with actual Indian flavours. They had the depth and layers of flavour profile which left us amazed. We ordered Sweet potato chaat, mirchi k kabab, paneer butter masala , laccha paratha and garlic naan. Food was delicious. Gravy was not sweet but had great flavours. I recommend skipping on cocktails as they were pretty mediocre. The desserts again are amazing. We tried the chai cake and it did not disappoint. Overall it was an amazing experience. One thing which disappointed us the most is the behaviour of the manager. He was coming to every table aroud us where non-Indians were seated to get the feedback and interact with them but ignored us (indians) like we didn’t exist there. This behaviour is pretty unacceptable coming from a fellow Indian manager towards indians."
