Reviews
"This cafe doesn't even know the difference between Cappuccino, Flat white, and Cortado, while they will charge 7 dollars for such sub-par espresso-based drinks. A pure joke. I recommend you to retrain your barista properly, ideally send them to Italy."
"The coffee is alright, nothing to write home about, but it will absolutely do. I didn't get a chance to stick around, but the ambiance was lovely, with lots of wood and warm lighting, which was a perfect contrast to frigid and wet weather."
"Worst coffee I’ve had in a while. Mocha was both watery and burnt with a foam that looked like soapy water bubbles, while the cortado was sour. I used to frequent this coffeeshop before the pandemic and the coffee always ranged from very good to decent, so what happened to it is a mystery. On top of that, there are no more to stay cups, which is insulting for a sit-down place where two coffees cost $14."
"This place is a challenge. It's busy but they only offer paper cups... (-1) Aside from the environmental impact, it just feels bad. It never feels homey despite a good atmosphere. The mocha is horrendous. Actually terrible to the point of no reprisal. This is unforgivable. It's like they spilled some coffee in to a cup of instant hot chocolate, the cheap stuff, and added water. This place used to be better. That's why this sucks to write. So many places are having the second wave of mediocrity. The pandemic has turned great places into nostalgic places that used to be good. This is one them. RIP Irving Farm, I'll miss you."
"Irving Farm has a few locations around New York but this is the one I went to so going to review this spot. Overall, this seemed like a decent neighborhood coffee shop for locals grabbing cups to go. The cafe is located on the bottom floor of the building so you take a few steps down and then head to the back to order. Coffee wise, I got a drip and it wasn’t bad. Very mellow and smooth taste with a medium amount of caffeine from what I could tell. Unfortunately this location is pretty hectic and was busy when I came so lots of people were moving around and the staff all seemed a little distanced / rushed getting orders out."
