"There is a woman who works here that i simply adore, I see her every morning she is there and she just makes my day because she asks how I’m doing and we talk about her child and we share our lives. I’m sure people understand how important the culture of a coffee shop is, especially in a place like New York. It’s the reason I come to this place and it is because of her, she’s the manager, it’s because of her that this place feels so good and why people keep coming back. It’s not just me with which this reporte exists. It makes me smile to see the community experience the same even tho we are in union square busy central and I’m just so grateful to her and the staff she so obviously leads to the same. This company should give her a raise!!"

"Only downfall is the price but that’s everywhere right $5.99 for mocha with $1 tip so it’s quite a lot for the small size. Three cute bar tables and two staff came out quick. Good a little burnt tasting, cute little cups with the names though! Also they have a stamp card!!"

"My favorite coffee shop of ALL TIME!! It’s a mix of all the best things you’d hope to find in a neighborhood coffee shop. You’ve got the amazing baristas that greet you with so much warmth & friendliness, the delicious smell of the beans roasting (& brewed in our very own city) the coziness that welcomes you in from the cold on a winter morning & vibey refuge found in their iced lattes on a hot summers day. I order a vanilla iced latte with almond milk always but I’ve brought friends whose orders range from cortados, drip, cappuccinos, etc. and they’ve loved it enough to keep coming back! The people here are amazing. Nya, Jack, Abby & co. do an amazing job at keeping Birch WV my favorite place to start all of my days!"

"Birch is one of the few local coffee shops around the big apple. Its quality really stands out (specially from a famous Seattle based coffee shop that you can stumble upon every corner). Having said that, their staff could be a bit friendlier, specially for those of us who can only have their latte when Unsweetened Almond milk. Worth to mention the Latte art is great."
