""A Disastrous Dining Experience at Vatan - Shocking Prices, Terrible Food, and Chaotic Management" I recently visited the Vatan counter at the Philadelphia Expo Centre during an event, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of a disaster. I can't help but express my utter disappointment and concern regarding the overall quality and management at Vatan. First and foremost, the prices were absolutely outrageous. I was shocked to find that they charged a whopping $64 for just three snacks dishes. It's clear that they're charging customers according to their mood rather than reasonable pricing standards. This kind of price gouging is unacceptable and leaves a sour taste in one's mouth before even taking a bite. But the pricing was just the tip of the iceberg. The food was a major letdown. I ordered only three snacks dishes, hoping for a satisfying meal, but what I received was a tasteless and bland concoction that resembled nothing close to authentic cuisine. The flavors were nonexistent, and the quality of the ingredients left much to be desired. It's disappointing to see a restaurant claiming to serve quality food fall so short of expectations. The management at Vatan was also in disarray. During my visit, the entire team appeared overwhelmed and disorganized. Customers were visibly frustrated and many were yelling at the staff. This level of chaos only added to the unpleasant experience. I sincerely hope that the owners and management of Vatan take these comments to heart and make serious improvements to their establishment. Customers deserve a fair and enjoyable dining experience, which Vatan is currently failing to provide. It's high time for Vatan to address these issues and work on delivering the quality they promise to their patrons."
"This place is definitely NOT HYGIENIC and appropriate to the health standards. We were here to have a quick pani puri shots, but their mango syrup to pani puri had A floating bug which until we asked them to remove was not removed and the pani puri guy was still on the verge to readily serve us the same pani of the pani puri. I honestly didn’t expect this to come from a very famous restaurant"
"Having heard a lot about this place I thought of giving it a try today and it did disappoint. Initially went in for khasta kachori but they didn't have it which is fine and then settled for bhel Puri. The Bhel Puri arrived minus Puri and tbh what can we expect here? The chutney though was added in large quantity which made it sweet and sour rather than having a dash of spice. They missed out on masala dal too which always brings flavor to the dish! The restaurant has self service but the ambience is really bad. The floor seemed sticky and the tables weren't cleaned. The cakes on display felt as if they had been there for a long while and the staff felt it wasn't' much interested in serving the customers. They could either improve their service or look forward to winding down in the future as the competition increases around them."
"DISASTER and Worst... Please do not order for delivery. Please go and eat so you can get it sorted Choley had a flat taste and too much oil Panner tikka roll had just some sauce and panner cubes...worst taste and wrong item Instead of Paneer spring roll some Manchurian ball came with some too much Manchurian gravy Instead of that many big notes, noodles were a disaster. Worst experience and taste...so much food wasted....can't even eat Everything was some Manchurian gravy . Eat bread and jam and sleep...thank me later"
"If you want to experience live Pani Puri here, go early on weekends or go on weekdays. The line gets pretty long and takes pretty long time for your turn. Pani Puri here is good - they offer about 7 flavors of Pani ( Jaljeera, Hing, Mango, Garlic, Ginger and Khatta-Meeta) with Ragda or Aloo filling. They also offer variety of vegetarian-Jain dishes ranging from chats to thalis. They also have in house bakery items like cakes and Puffs. Chaats tasted good. Specially Sev Puri - has a good garlic kick to it. Would recommend. Service is good and quick."
