"We have always loved Corto as our go-to dinner spot - it's warm, welcoming, delicious, just an overall good atmosphere and high quality food. And we've always had celebratory dinners here, so it only made sense that it's where we got married! The entire event was flawless thanks to Theresa, Chef Matt, and the entire Corto team. Their flexibility allowed us to execute everything we envisioned - the flow, setup, food (custom menu curated with Chef), drink (byob), ambiance, and decor (they provided EVERYTHING except table name tags and flowers). Their pastry chef Jeanette also made our wedding cake! Our family had a wonderful time and only had good things to say, especially about the food. Highly recommend if you're looking for a small, intimate and unique event space. Or just a really really good meal."

"The food was absolutely amazing. Every dish was so well thought and prepared. For me the pasta with chestnut, terrine, and gelato with olive oil were the winners of the dinner, however it was a hard decision to select. Every dish is made from high quality locally sourced ingredients which is the main determinant why the food is so good. Corto has an excellent warm and inviting atmosphere, and the hospitality is on the highest level. Honestly I felt like during a family dinner, due to the sharing nature of this place. I felt taken care of and I will definitely come back."

"A lovely BYOB Italian restaurant located in Jersey City, in a completely unexpected area. The place is always busy so you need to have a reservation. Staff was lovely with us the whole time - and a Brazilian waitress, Ana, went to our table only to say hello to us. Food was great - although the Angry Chicken was hotter than I was expecting. The cheeses are delicious, and the apple pie was a perfect dessert to end the evening. We'll sure get back!"

"Finally made it to Corto! The restaurant did not disappoint. Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. Food was delicious. The place leans more casual - I wore a dress and felt out of place. We sat outside in December and their enclosed outdoor area was comfortably heated. Enjoyed everything - the Salad, Kabocha Squash, Honey & Ricotta Toast, Fusilli, Agnolotti, and Angry Chicken. Notes - felt like the Ricotta toast could have used more salt. The fusilli was without a doubt the most garlicky dish I have ever had but still delicious. Do not pass on the Agnolotti or Angry Chicken."
