"Idk what everyone is saying, this is one of the best places in NYC for sushi. I have been going for a decade, reasonably priced and delicious sushi everytime. Sucks that it closed, but I love this place."
"So on a whim I was feeling for sushi and decided to try this place. I ordered the 181 Special Roll, which was cooked yellowtail and a spicy chef's sauce, along with the shumai (shrimp dumplings x6). Both were very tasty. The shrimp dumplings by themselves were so good I wish I had ordered another set! The special roll was very good - hadn't had cooked yellowtail in a while and the spicy sauce was a good match for how I like it. The place itself - no frills (a clean bodega style setup). Worth the walk for me. Staff was pleasant. Recommended."
"My brother was really craving sushi and we found this place in the Heights. We sat outside and had fast service. We both ordered bento boxes (shrimp tempura and chicken). I also got a side of shrimp, avocado, and mango roll. The seafood tempura (appetizer) was mostly veggies, I was hoping for more seafood. But overall each bite was tasty, and we will be returning."
"I've eaten here a few times before with no problems, but tonight I ordered 3 rolls, 2 of which were inedible. The fish is discolored. I had one piece and it immediately tasted off. When I unwrapped the roll the salmon which is normally an orange color was brown on the inside pieces. The tuna is a white-ish faded pink. This was after a 2-hour wait for delivery. When I called and asked for a refund (I even only asked for a partial refund as I didn't insist on the non-fish rolls since those can't go bad) they were extremely rude rather than taking ownership and apologizing. I will not be going back again and hope that I don't get sick from the piece that I ate. Dining in has been fine, but I wouldn't want to give my business to a place that runs this way."
