"Prices are higher than Aldi and they ring up items you don’t buy. Also they do not give sale prices at the register. If something is on sale, watch carefully as they ring it up. They don’t honor sale prices at the register. I bought a can of 82cent beans and found they charged me for beans at $2.57. BEWARE!! Go to ALDIs!!!"
"Two weeks ago I purchased a cantaloupe at the Lidl in Brick. I brought pictures to the cashier because in 2 days it literally liquified on my counter. I did not save the receipt because I NEVER return anything but someone told me there was a recall on cantaloupes which would explain it. The manager said without a receipt she couldn't do anything. Didn't even have the decency to come speak to me and I shopped there at least 2 times a week spending at least $200 a week. I have had other awful experiences with their managers. The cashier's are all so wonderful. Kind and friendly. I will no longer be shopping at Lidl in Brick.. Aldi's is right around the corner...."
"This is the best place to spend your money in this economy because your money they go so much farther. Great prices, great staff, great products, and simply the best in town. Bring your own bags. If you're grocery shopping, don't expect to have bags at the checkout. They do have bags up the checkout, but they can be quite pricey."
"If you like fresh food, you have come to the wrong place. The produce section is tiny and half of it looks like it should have been thrown out. A few things were good, but they didn't have even some of the basics. I tried to find seafood, but aside from solid blocks of salmon there was not much to be found. Nothing fresh, always Frozen. Even finding something simple like salt turned out to be difficult. When I asked what aisle it was in, I was told maybe four or five and left to search for myself. A few prices here and there weren't that bad, but you can be sure I'm never setting foot in that store again. One cool thing they did have, and check out there are two areas for people to get their groceries together. That way when one person is sorting out their cold vs. Warm stuff it doesn't hold up the line. And there was a line. Even though the store was mostly empty, they made sure there was a line because they only had one check out cashier."
"Always find reasonable prices. Friends LOVED Cara Cara oranges- juicy & less than $3/bag. Interesting ice cream flavors; pistachio bars are excellant. Even my neighbor bought a box. Cashiers are kind & helpful. Love, during the week, many products 30% off. Alot of wheat free, sugar free products available."
