"What no other store in Queens would do! I bought a suit 4 days ago to be altered and ready to be picked up today to find out I cannot wear what I purchased. Portabella honored their Buy 1 Get 50 % Off and allowed me to purchase a second suit for half off 4 days after purchasing the first suit. Not only this, but Portabella altered my suit the very same day. Very impressed with this store. Will definitely recommend this place to friends."

"STAY AWAY!! THEY DO NOT STAND BY THEIR PRODUCT! NO RETURNS FOR ANYTHING!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK! Many other suit places to choose from in the area! I have been coming here for years to buy suits! At least two suits every season. I was there in July to purchase a 3 piece suit with shirt, tie, bow tie, belt, and shoes for around $800 for a wedding. This was the first time I had an issue with this store, but how they handled it, they definitely lost a customer over $50. Here is where the nightmare begins: I told the guy there that I don't like tight shirts around the neck so I need a bigger size than what is measured. Obviously didn't listen to me and gave me the exact size. The whole wedding I needed to wear the suit without the top button done because it was choking me. 2nd issue, the belt looked like it had been worn for years after I took it off that night. I didn't even dance at the wedding! Just stood or sat the whole time! I had an interview the following day, went back to the store and told them about the shirt. The guy started arguing with me that I didn't buy the shirt there. I didn't have time and just told him to give me a little bit bigger of a size. The guy jumped from a 16 to a 17!! (Later I found out that my comfortable size is a 16.5). No measurements, no nothing to check. I go to my interview and putting on the shirt that they don't let you try on or have shirts you can try on for fitting and the sleeves are enormous! I look like I'm a musketeer with those puffy shirts and they make the sleeves of the jacket look wrinkled! Second, the belt just COMES RIGHT OFF as I enter the building for the interview! Picture attached! A nightmare you can imagine on a very difficult interview! I went back to the store today because I needed another suit. I told the salesperson what had happened. They would not take back the shirts or the belt! NOT EVEN THE BELT that looked like it has been through WW3 after one wear! Saddest part is that I went there for so many years spending thousands buying about two suits each visit plus accessories and other dress items. They thought it was smart to lose me as a customer over two shirts and a belt. Good business model. Especially with 5 other suit places in the same area! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!"

"I walked in on a whim to look for a suit for my wedding months later with no expectations. I spoke with Hesham who was very helpful from the outset. He showed me a few different suits and tuxes they had from major brands with great discounts. He didn't pressure me to buy the most expensive one but showed me all the options and explained what looked good and fit well. I ha day fiancee join me and she loved the options too. A day of errands turned into a decision day for one if the most important parts of our wedding. They hemmed the pants and we picked it up later on!
