"What is up with this place? I waited for at least ten minutes at the register with young children, and when someone finally showed up, there was no apology for the wait. She berated me for not using the self-checkout, although both of those machines were down. The cashier continued to, I don't know how to put this even, STARE me down with disdain, while ringing up my items. I asked to speak to the manager (in a nice tone), and she said she was the manager. I never expect royal treatment, just basic respect. When I tried to explain that her mannerisms were impolite, she told me, in exact words, "Get the 'f' out and shop somewhere else"... In front of my sons. I can't believe this happened. Nowhere, ever, have I been spoken to this way. I hope corporate sees this, and gives her job to someone else, perhaps a hardworking stocker or other cashier in the store. This woman has no business in customer service."

"I bought medicine once here before for my disabled neighbor (who I occasional shop for). The second time I bought it, the manager, who is habitually rude and looks like she hates life, told me I was banned from buying the product again. She said, in front of other customers, very loudly that I buy this product a lot. It was embarrassing and unprofessional. If you want to place a limit on a product, just say there's a limit. No need for judgment. This is the closest store to where I live, but I will never shop here again. I've also heard this manager curse in front of customers and small children. What a shame."

"I did self-checkout so I did not need to talk to an employee. I found the store clean and well organized. It does not have a large footprint but it had everything I needed off my list - small zip ties, cute entry mats, batteries (of course), fly swatters, etc."

"Terrible employees at checkout. Register person was chatting with an off duty employee about weekend plans the entire time checking out 3 customers in line. Chatted with her friend the entire time and barely paid attention to register. Employees need training on customer service. Like the other review, I saw people use self checkout because both employees were outside smoking, no one else was in store or at register. This Farmingdale location needs immediate employee retraining & supervision."
