"They allow people to bring their pets in the store. I asked if people were allowed to bring their dogs in the store and the associate said Sometimes. So if you need to do your grocery shopping with your dog, this is the place to go!"
"At first this was a great store (besides the main entrance, who thought one door for both directions was a good idea???) but over the last 2 years it took a nose dive into the ground. Giving it 2 stars rather than 1 because there is at least food available there. Prices are outrageous on non-store brand items now. They're very clearly pushing the in house brand very hard because any other grocery store sells the other brands for cheaper rates than ShopRite does. It should not be cheaper at Whole Foods or Wegmans for a bag of Tortillas in my opinion. Baby formula is $10 cheaper at Target BTW, do not buy any baby supplies from here. From myself checking prices against other stores, ShopRite is about 20-30% more expensive on average for a subpar experience. The produce is usually pretty gross now. Lettuce is wilting on the shelf, fruit flies get bad, rotten fresh spices. I stopped getting anything from seafood because the department is either closed early or no one is back there. I've walked up to lines there and they sometimes say they've been waiting 10 minutes for someone. The self-checkout is a total dumpster fire. This is one of the very few stores without an item limit on self-checkout, leading to people going through with full carts of goods. Combined with minimal manned check-outs mean leaving the store can take a while with everyone in line getting frustrated with the bottleneck. Then, they recently turned the item scale back on for SCO which slows it down even more because people can't fit all the items on the bagging scale so now the employees need to constantly clear the scale alarm. It also goes off and needs to be cleared when I put a reusable bag on it so I can bag as I scan to speed up the process I'll gladly drive 20-30 minutes to a better store with less price gouging and with better management from now on."
"Good Afternoon! I was in Shop Rite this morning and noticed a homeless person walking around helping others with their carts. I get it. He's trying to survive by hoping that he will be given a tip of some kind. I've seen other suspicious characters in the parking lot, too. I think, it's your responsibility as a company to have security and keep an eye out not only near entrance but outside, as well. The wellbeing of customers going in and out should be priority at all times. All customers lives matter."
"Great product selection..prices are a little high but they have sales and shopper's discounts which really add up. Staff is friendly and store is always super clean and taken care of. Products always stocked and things are easy to find. Great store all around!"
