"This store is an absolute mess. Their deli counter is dingy and closed by dinnertime (due to staff shortage, apparently), their bagged salad is often expired, sale prices ring up as full price, (be sure to check your receipt before leaving the store), and usually there is only one cashier on duty (again, was told due to staff shortage). Do yourself a favor and take the 7 minute (2 miles) drive to Acme in Little Silver. They have multiple cashiers on duty, and their deli counter is fully staffed, very clean and well lit. Kudos to you Little Silver for an excellent shopping experience!"

"This location is clean and we'll stocked. My wife and I generally don't shop at acme markets due to how much higher their prices are vs the competition in the area. In many cases we have found the prices to be at least 10 percent higher but sometimes 20-25 percent higher."

"Warning - Mismarked product pricing. I am tried, time and again that produce is marked on sale the rings up for the full price. I can only imagine how many people get gouged and when you point it out to them, they wont stand to their mistake. THIS IS VERY BAD SERVICE!!"

"If I could give it zero stars I would. Whomever said that it would be better replaced by any other grocery store was correct. True the renovations corrected some problems like the persistent trash smell, but I think this store has a ways to go before anyone would even consider it average. Anyone giving this store 5 stars is either fake or has never visited another grocery store in their life. And the self checkout requires constant clerk intervention. Finally, it is so poorly organized that for such a small store it is hard to find items. Gross, but close."

"I go here whenever I need a random food thing. I was surprised to see that they supply protein powder, although there are only about 4 different kinds. I've never had a problem with ACME except that they are a bit expensive. For example, I could buy dog treats and bones here for $50 or go to PetSmart and pay $20. The store recently went through an exterior renovation and it looks much, much better now."
