"What a beautiful experience. All food was fresh and delicious. Service was great. We spent a lot of time looking at the art on the walls and other cultural trinkets. Very good vibes."
"We were curious to try this meal and I am so glad we came. This was one of those meals where on the first bite you start wondering when you can come back. Everything we ordered was a 10/10. We ordered the chicken Tabaka which was basically the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. It’s crispy and flavorful but still light. It also comes with a refreshing salsa-like dip which was phenomenal. We also got the Pavlov, which is Uzbek fried rice with lamb. I don’t typically like lamb and I inhaled this. My husband said it was one of the best fried rices he’s ever had (high praise from a Filipino!). We also got the dumplings (FYI expect a 40 minute wait for these, we got them at the end of the meal instead of it being an appetizer, but was well worth the wait). The dumplings were melt in your mouth good. I’m so happily surprised with this place, one of those places that should be packed every night but is a hidden gem. We will be back!!!"
"Anyone craving Central Asian food has come to the right place. The service is second to none (especially from Frank) and the desserts are delicious and come in generous portions. Also, the Uzbek decorations make your eating experience cozy and authentic."
"Fantastic, authentic dishes! This small, family-owned understated restaurant offers surprisingly high end morsels of deliciousness. The salads burst with flavor, the kebabs are succulent, and the deserts, in particular the napoleon and the nut cake, are truly outstanding. Can't wait to return."
"It’s a relatively small place for group or family gatherings, so definitely make a reservation 1-2 days ahead before you go. Go in groups. Their food comes in large portion and so filling, and everything on the menu looks so tempting; if you go alone, you won’t know how to order. We had a group of 6, empty stomaches, tried almost a little bit of everything from the menu, but still came back with a lot of leftovers. We loved everything: soups, buns/breads, eggplant appetizers, meat kabobs, desserts. They charge 20% tips for party of 6+, and 3.5% process fee for using credit cards. For their friendly and quick service, and given how complicated the food is, I think it’s reasonable. They did not serve free tab water, but they gave us complimentary hot tea towards the end. Overall, for $60 per person, good food and good experience."
