"Black Star is great for getting a bite to eat and catching up with friends or reading/ relaxing but there’s no Wi-Fi so maybe not the best place to work. There is a nice outdoor area if you want to soak up the sun. I tried the zatar croissant and it was really good and flaky. I got some pastries to go for my friends and they loved the cherry and cheese danish, the mushroom bureka, and chocolate and Halacha pastry. Everything I’ve had so far has been delicious!"
"highly recommend! one of the best chai lattes i’ve had, on the sweeter side but so good. the lox bagel was also delicious and had a healthy serving of lox - for about $15 bucks it’s on the cheaper end over here. didn’t get a pastry but they looked amazing! quick service even when busy. no wi-fi if you’re planning to work."
