The Main Course, Cold Spring

"Wow! So happy I found this place. My husband and I came up from the city to hike yesterday and stopped by here on our way to the trailhead to grab some sandwiches to eat along our hike. Both of our sandwiches were fresh and delicious. When we saw the baked goods, we both had to get one and they were incredible. I'm still dreaming about that berry scone. Will definitely be stopping by here before all of our hikes moving forward. On a side note: you all should make little take away bags/picnic kits for hikers! I loved eating my yummy sandwich with a view at the top and I'm sure others would too!"

"I had slow cooked beef, coleslaw, and a buttered croissant. The quality was average. I've had better ones elsewhere including the croissant. But in a small town where choices are fewer, I do see the importance of this place to the locals."

From the outside, it doesn’t look like very much. However, the menu is amazing so don’t let the outside distract you... prices are very reasonable and the staff is great!"

"I friggin’ love this place! I wish it was on the Main Street of Cold Spring because they offer quality food that is certainly in demand. They are an asset to Cold Spring and they make healthy but delicious meals and salads. They sell everything from tuna, chicken, pasts, fruit, bean salads, to sandwiches, soups, muffins & more. The quiche is always yummy and they have a small selection of crackers, chips and snacks. Great coffee too! Support them instead of the corporate DD option nearby! Shop small biz!"
