"Great food, affordable, great service.falafel is superb… I recommend this place….."
"Best Turkish food fount in NYC. Everything we tried was very close to taste of food in Turkey. Friendly servers."
"I always love Mediterranean cuisine and especially Turkish. The food is authentic and flavorful. Good quantity and fair priced. The interior is not super outstanding but classic and good enough. I love the free warm bread they give before the meal. The olive oil sprinkled with orégano is the best simple bread dip. The Shepard salad is also my favorite, fresh and well-balanced flavored with vintage. The Adana chicken is also full with middle eastern spice, well marinated. The service is quick too. Overall, a casual place for good Turkish food."
"Our family has never had Turkish food. We were really upfront up about it with our server. She made some fantastic suggestions. Bread Basket- I think everyeone had at least 2 slices of bread, dipping it in delicious olive oil, while one ate about 5 slices! The bread was crunchy and soft at the same time. Shepherd Salad- It was delicious. We got the large- it looked "small" but it ended up feeding 5 (one less than enthusiatic child) people as an appetizer pretty comfortably. So, probably 4 adults would be very happy with good sized portions to share this salad. We put the feta cheese on the side because one person in our group usually cannot have feta. Mucver- It was delicious. Definitely try this dish. The zucchini flower pancake combo was so lovely, The sauce that accompanied it was super refreshing. Doner Kebab- This was ordered because it was a safe choice for our family. We are more familiar with this- as it is similiar- but not the same as Gyro meat. The spices were on target and it was a fantastic dish. Lamb Adana Kebab- Honestly, our family is not used to eating lamb. HOWEVER, we "went outside our comfort zone" for this- and boy was it great. It was not to gamey for us. There were great spices in this dish, and everyone at the table went back for seconds. Stuffed Cabbage Leaves (Lahana Sarmasi)- It was not your usual "stuffed cabbage" filling. It was flavorful, the sauce was delightful, and nothing was left when we finished our meal. This is a "returnable" restaurant. Really. The meal was plenty for 5 people. Best part- tip was included in the meal, so there was no fussing or trying to figure that out. It was greatly appreciated."
"Great place to get some Halal Turkish food. Get there before 3 pm, they have great deals $28 on lunch, 3 courses. Good portions, food was EXCELLENT. Service is great, everyone was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was good. They have indoor and outdoor seating."
