"This is one of those places you go in NYC for the history of it. Food is edible but not mouth watering. However, one can never truly compare taste buds. Service was fast, efficient, great. I suspect most wait staff are aspiring thespian so they can be entertaining and hold a quick conversation. Atmosphere-outdated but in a very familiar and acceptable way."

"We had a wonderful pre-theater dinner here, sitting at the bar which was the best seat in the house! The food was delicious. Ordered the roasted stuffed quail as well as the burger. Great flavor and presentation; friendly staff. Very strong drinks too! Will definitely come back here again."
