"A favorite! This perfect Jersey diner offers so much! From the unique harlequin decor, to the impeccable food and service, this is a great dining experience. Our food was perfect...my grilled chicken pita with lettuce, tomato and avocado was perfectly sauced, portioned and wrapped so as to avoid messy hands. My fiance got a jerk chicken wrap which was also great, served with a unique side of fried yuca. Their over the top desserts deliver...our carrot cake was moist and decadent and served on a decorated dish with syrups...beautiful! Our waiter was excellent, attentive and had a great sense of humor. I highly recommend Chit Chat."

"My family flew in from Texas and needed a place to eat ASAP, and this place did an outstanding job. Every member of the family, from my kids to my wife and I, were completely catered to. From gyro wrap to a teriyaki bowl, from a roast beef platter to a patty melt, everything was on point. Also the ambiance, service, and value were solid. If I lived in the area I'd be here once a month. Oh, desserts and coffee drinks were also killer. Nice job!"

"My 2 kids and my parents went for breakfast today. It was our first time here so we didn't know what to expect. It was around 830am. The place was around half full but we immediately were welcomed and sat. Our server gave us menus and took our drink orders within 3 minutes or so. The menu was extensive and we took our time looking, but did not feel rushed. Our mozzarella sticks came out almost immediately and we joked that it was probably microwaved but it was DELICIOUS. My 12 year old connoisseur of fried foods gave it two thumbs up. The rest of the food was spot on. We ordered chicken and waffles (crispy skin, seasoned chicken); pancake deluxe; (3 huge pancakes with a fat sausage, 2 pieces bacon, 2 slices of taylor ham); the godfather omelets, and chicken fajita omelet. Omelets come with either hash browns or grits and toast. We ended up taking half the entire order home because it was SO MUCH food. The check came to around $110 without tip. I agree it was pricey but you can definitely save if you split an entree. Portions are big enough to do that. I give it a five because of the food, the service, the ambiance, and cordiality of the staff. They weren't artificially friendly, and they were efficient. Will be coming back."
