"This is one of my new favorite places to order from. The cornbeard was warm, fluffy, buttery, and fresh. The bacon mac and cheese was gift sent from the heavens. The smothered chicken, yams, and mashed potatoes sent me into a food coma I couldnt rise from for 4 hours. This is a legit treat-yo-self restaurant. Cant wait to have more!"

"If I could rate 0 stars I would. Food is mediocre, and NEVER in my life have I seen a waitress move so slow. I have worked in food service majority of my life and anyone knows there should be a sense of urgency. Apparently not at this place. Definitely do not recommend unless you want to wait for a very long time."

"We've been wanting to try Larsen's for a while now and finally got the chance and OH MY GOD!! Everything was amazing and made with such detail and care. We started with the delicious split pea soup made with smoked turkey. Savory, homemade and incredible. I had the fried catfish and my husband had the smothered chicken. Hes from from the South, so his taste buds are very discerning. Both dishes passed the test by a mile. We will definitely be coming back. All of this goodness was also accompanied by service with a smile!!"

"Very comfy place. The staff were efficient and very friendly. The corn bread was my favorite. We had a large family and a few kids and Larsen Monique and Shantee were more then helpful to accommodate us. For was well hot and very tasty. First time to Jersey City and a friend recommended we eat here. Glad we did"

"Did not care for the experience. The food did not meet expectations. The server waited until after we ordered to tell us we had to pre-pay for the food. The bread items was dry and unsatisfactory. Definitely wouldn't recommend. Also the seat was hot."
