Zinna the owner is super sweet, professional, punctual. She truly wants the customer to be happy and checks in with you. "Private Dinning Experience (at home) I have had over 5 private dining experience with Moso chefs and owner in the past 2 months and it’s BEYOND my EXPECTATIONS every single time! The taste of the food, how creative they are with mixing things up for each audience, the ATTENTION to DETAILS, their professionalism and always punctual, they leave my guest so happy with an experience. My husband sees how happy I am hosting with zero stress and so jovial all night enjoying my guest and the food. These have become our date nights with friends in the comfort of our own home with our own catered menus. I love to host, but before finding Moso I would stress about what to cook or buy etc it’s such a waste of my time and money, honestly this has been WORTH EVERY DIME. "We just moved to the area and Cafe Moso caught our eye. The menu looked intriguing online so we went in for a date night. Reminder that it is BYOB! We walked in on a Friday at 6:30pm and it wasn’t very busy (it filled in as the night went on.) The reviews about the Mac and cheese did not disappoint. I HIGHLY recommend starting with that. Perfect temperature and the amount of cheese was out of this world. We ordered the catfish (Brussels sprouts, salad and cornbread) which was such a generous potion we had to take half of it home! The catfish was cooked perfectly, the breading was light and had a nice flavor to it. We also ordered the hanger steak (fingerling potatoes, chimichurri, onions and mushrooms) the steak was cooked exactly how I wanted it and it melted in my mouth. We shared the warm chocolate cookie for desert-perfect way to wrap it up. It is a nice intimate setting inside with street parking available. It is worth the drive if you do not live in South Montclair. Check them out!"

"I just got the Baked Mac & Cheese for takeout and when I tell you it is the MOST PERFECT mac & cheese I have ever experienced… I mean I have searched for this my whole life, perfect. Gooey creamy inside, golden outside, and little scallion on top. I never instantly write reviews like this. It’s just so good you guys. Here’s some pics. I’m no food photographer. But like…eat this. Everything I saw go to tables while I was there was gorgeous too."

"Can’t say enough good things. It’s a hidden gem with great food, great service, and it’s BYOB. I had the hanger steak and my friend had the vegetarian tacos. We shared a side of Mac and cheese and brussel sprouts, everything was absolute perfection. The chef puts a whole lot of TLC in the food and it shows!! A+++ highly recommend!"
