"This store had such cute clothes, but the service of the workers was absolutely insane and ridiculous. I have never been so mistreated while being with other friends and family. They had absurd rudeness and kept me from buying. They were two workers who would constantly whisper and stare as we walked by. We were innocent people trying to shop. Continuing, when we had walked in they were just doing nothing at all but judge. Please reconsider your workers!!!"
"This store has so many cute things! I tried on several items and didn't realize I was there a bit after closing. The two women that were there were super nice and helpful with me. I left with three tops and a bracelet!"
"The owner of this boutique is the reason I will never come here again. Perhaps she deals with self-esteem issues/ stress and has hardened into someone bitter and aggressive. In July I came in here, and when I went to pay she gave me a rather nasty comment. She told me I looked nothing like the photo in my driver's license and asked me to remove my mask (during covid times) for proof of ID. She looked me up and down, and grimaced, while continuing to stare me down as if she works for the bloody TSA. Was it because I am not white? I was uncomfortable, and vowed never to return. I came back recently because I was given a dress as a gift, and wanted to exchange it. The same owner was there and this time, even more hostile. After I handed her the bag and began browsing, she came up to me and accused me of "stretching out the dress" and questioned me in front of the entire store. I had tried on the dress once at home, realized it did not fit, and put it straight back into the bag to be returned. The accusation was rude, but the way she approached it was even worse. The owner, and her staff of three judgemental gawking teenage girls, made me so uncomfortable I was shaking in the dressing room. This store deserves to close; their mean girl vibe does not belong in a town as friendly and warm as Ridgewood."
"Zero Stars! Terrible customer service! I bought a full priced pair of white Steve Madden boots that had a leather defect. I had the box and the receipt and the owner Lucille refused to take them back or give any type of store credit. She said they were not her problem. They were Steve Madden’s problem. I like to support local small businesses, however they shoot themselves when they don’t stand behind their products. They also need to remember the reasons people buy small and local is to build a relationship with the store owners, develop a sense of trust, and perpetuate a sense of community within the town itself. Clearly this is another case of my store will do just fine without you. Well, Ridgewood rents are high and people will not support you if you do not stand behind your merchandise and your clientele! If you fail to meet the needs of your clients and show kindness when necessary the word will spread and on that note, I will never shop there again."
"I’m from Hudson county but was there today, I was eating at the area and hanging out with some friends. I just did some major shopping for my new spring wardrobe since I work in fashion and also make fashion content and I could definitely use more clothes so I walked in to check it out since their display caught my eye and the owners were wonderful. I saw this beautiful snake print mini skirt that I immediately liked and it fit me so well I had to buy it as well as some really cute hair clips with rhinestones and designs on them and then she shows me their clearance $10 rack! I walked out with six mini skirts three beautiful chunky sweaters and the hair clips. Everything was so aesthetically pleasing and the clothing quality is amazing! Definitely will be back."
