"My boyfriend had flowers sent to my job. The quality of the flowers was sub par, at best. The flowers didn't appear to be fresh and the greenery looked parched and half-dead. I was more upset that the card was hand-written, scribbled and barely legible. Part of the message was also missing. I contacted the shop and management was apologetic and offered to re-write the card but I feel like it should have been typed in the first place. I don't want a card written in a stranger's sloppy handwriting; it's unprofessional and tacky. I should have been offered at least a partial refund, for the quality of the bouquet and the card that I couldn't read. The woman I spoke to on the phone initially mentioned that they had "a lot of orders" and were busy, which was evident by the effort put into my order. My partner paid entirely too much for a rushed and unprofessional job."
