"This is not a place I would recommend to anyone. I am moving when my lease is up. I have had consistent issues with my neighbors and their loud bass, which I can hear over my TV and HVAC. I am having to pay my own expenses to get away from them. Management has been anything but helpful."

"Lived here for 15 months and moved out, turned in my paperwork and keys to the front office as requested. None of the internet hookups were actually hooked up. They had to drill a hole through the brick to feed the cable. Half of the outlets are powered either. After I moved a few hundred miles away and 2 months had passed they call me asking me to pay rent. They said they didn't have any paperwork from me and automatically assumed a month-to-month lease. I told them I had moved out months ago and thre was some mistake. I had shut off thr power in my name, the internet the gas bill all of it. They did not care. They demanded 2 months rent from me to close the lease. When I refused because I had already dont my job they added an additional 3k worth of a cleaning fee. The place was not filthy. They had to move 1 love sest, an end table, and 2 contractor bags I didn't take with me. And that supposedly is 2 months worth of rent right there. This people are crooks. Down right, rotten crooks. Best part? They served me an eviction and took me to court without my knowledge. I was never given papers nor the opportunity to defend myself in court. Stay FAR away from here. These people don't care about you."

"Independence townhomes have a major pest control issue. Neighbors and I have complained about multiple issues in the home. After our lease is up. We will be moving … $1865.00(not including water) is too much of rent cost for this area."
