Hilton Garden Inn Virginia Beach Oceanfront

"We celebrated 3 bdays this weekend & let me tell you from the time I called ahead to the time we checked out. The experience was GREAT!!! the front desk receptionist Shawntea AMAZING!! she was on point with everything from the complimentary accommodations to check in & check out. Our rooms were connected. All my requests were granted. The "Lager"restaurant was nice & live music. The breakfast was delicious, our server Reese!!! Such a cool vibe & our orders were made specifically with no mistakes. The rooms were clean, warm & house keeping was quick & courteous. ***Two complaints*** 1. The pool was not hot AT ALL!! NO HEAT INSIDE & THE WATER WAS VERY COLD. Many other guest can confirm this statement as they were highly disappointed about that. My kids really wanted to swim this weekend. When I called & spoke to a gentleman he said it was heated. Please work on this HILTON. As people look forward to the pool especially in the winter months. That is a big deal!! 2. One elevator was down so it was very inconvenient especially being on the 9th floor. However they did accommodate guest with lots of water & snacks. We understand this things can happen. Overall we will visit again. & it will be in the summer so that we aren't disappointed about the pool."

"Loved our stay! Wish they had breakfast included like other Hilton Garden Inns. Very clean and friendly staff. Room had ocean view. It was great to hear the waves at night. Loved having access to the ocean from our hotel. They havea nice gym and indoor/outdoor pool."

"This is a beautiful ocean front property . Great location ! Upon arrival we were unable to open our balcony door. Maintenance was up within 5 minutes to fix it. The air conditioner would not lower and they sent Antonio to our room . He literally took out the wall unit and replaced it. Antonio was amazing! All the staff was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this Hilton. ** I’ve seen some comments complaining about NOT receiving housekeeping service. I work in hospitality. This is the new standard after Covid. Guest are informed to call if they require it. Obviously some of these individuals don’t travel much! **"

"Enjoyed our stay! The staff was friendly, in particular Hunter. At check in, his friendliness made the process not seem long, very welcoming after a 4 hour drive. He had a smile on his face every time you saw him. He always took time to say a quick hello. The location of the hotel is great! Our room was very spacious. We enjoyed the oceanfront view. So many things in walking distance: spa, music, restaurants and much more."
