Summer Station Apartments

"I lived 2 years in the complex and the first year was not that bad. I was a 2nd floor unit. Unfortunately there were issues that I encountered in both years: - fridge died and my food spoiled, maintenance only came to defrost it when I insisted that it needed to be replaced. It was only replaced after multiple calls into the lease office - Dryer never functioned properly (I had to cycle it twice for my clothes to dry) - The unit above me got their dryer ducts fixed because holes had to be cut in my ceiling (main bedroom, bathroom, laundry room) and the repairs to fix/fill said holes in my ceilings were not completed until after a MONTH. Calling multiple times, I find I somehow got “put off” the repair list in the lease office amongst a few other units that needed this same dryer then ceiling repair. - May or June ‘23 obnoxious, noisy and inconsiderate neighbors moved to the unit above me. They were never courteous to those living around them (stomping around, slamming recliners every few minutes, slamming drawers, having seggs late at night while I’m trying to sleep for work the next day). I could hear everything and even felt my bed shake upon their intercourse actions every weekend. - Being a first responder it’s imperative I get adequate rest in order to safely function on my shift (that easily extend into overtime, working weekends, holidays, midnights and even days off) so when I report noise complaints to the office numerous times, they did essentially nothing (even with the knowledge that I am a first responder!). - Now moved out, I am being billed for two weeks of water service after my lease has been terminated. The lease office was supposed to notify the company that I no longer live there, but that must have slipped their mind as well like my previous issues. The neighbors were the worst bit for me and that’s only a small summary of their actions during my time that I was stuck under them. (Have videos of their actions but unable to share, photo is hole in main bedroom ceiling.) With all the above mentioned, this place has awful management. The water service issue is ongoing at the moment, but there are better places to live than here. Hope this review aids your decision."

"So.. we have been living here for about 4 months now and it’s been hell. They have cockroaches coming from the faucets and water heater.. oh wait, the water heater is in the walk in “closet” btw. :( my mom and I are constantly being harassed by neighbors and staff. We get reported for every single little thing but people blast loud music and have huge arguments outside. The. floor print is actually contact paper that you get from the dollar tree. My mom and I love to decorate but that has been a huge challenge because the paint chips from almost the ENTIRE wall when we use command strips, forcing us to nail things which irritates our neighbors. Literally moved here to avoid all of this ghetto stuff. D:"

"I am giving this apartment a 1 out of 5 star review. I lived at summer station for 1 year in 2022. I have decided to give an honest review, not based on feelings but experiences. I would like to start by saying that management tries to do their best. But I believe it would be helpful if there was consistency in staff. That's probably not their fault but it's an observation. 1.) Bugs- Yes, yes and yes. Unfortunately this was a big occurrence. Waterbugs especially. And they did not spray every month. I think this should be done. When I sent an email about it I did not get a response. 2.) Noise- Oh man did this apartment have noise. Cars play music in the parking lot so loud that it shakes the windows at times and this is all times of the day/night. If you live in the middle floor (2nd) good luck if both neighbors are loud as mine were. From screaming children (not crying->screaming all night and day) to a party above me from 12 a.m.-4 a.m. with people screaming. If you have the room closest to the hallway you will hear footsteps up and down as people enter and exit the apartment. Summer stations did talk to my neighbors about their noise but it took several attempts and was a process. My eyebags had eyebags from my lack of rest. 3.) Drama- I have seen physical fights, have heard people yelling at each other in the streets-yeah 4.)Price- People say you get what you pay for but I actually believe the place is overpriced. Amenities include a pool, a small gym... I thought this was amazing but with the other issues I'm not so sure it was? 5.) Trash- I remember receiving a letter about this all of time. People respect it for a few days and then ignore it and some also won't clean up after their pets. I wish I could say nicer things and truly wanted to enjoy my stay especially with the price but this was my experience and why I chose not to re-lease. Good Luck on your home searching journey!"

"I've never left a review for anything,but felt like I needed to for this place. These apartments are so old. Apartment was nothing like the display. kitchen cabinets and fire place was dusty like it haven’t been touched in years.The gym is small , with outdated equipment. We had many maintenance issues like it leaks water in wash room and still it's not fixed yet. We called the office many times about it and the only answer we could get was maintenance was going to take care of it. once that the maintenance guy started to fix and couldn't fixed it. Note: will get more power bill and water bill here than what we stayed before. I lived there for one and half year. after we moved out they will charge more than what we pay monthly. I would highly recommend staying as far away from here as possible."

"Did a tour with Sierra and she's very knowledgeable about the apartment and made us feel comfortable. Would've loved to see an actual 3 bedroom though since we only got to see a 2 bedroom but overall it was a great experience. The amenities like the gym and the pool did really standout for us!"
